I raise Japanese KOI and have 29 in my big pond.  They all have names and come to me when they hear my voice.

It is hard to believe but they have individual personalities and mannerisms.  Their color and scale patterns determine their value.  Much like dog shows they have KOI Shows and prizes; i. e., Best of Show…my “King Arthur” won this title and he has great value and, of course, he is very handsome!  His matching companion is a beautiful “Guinevere” and his best friend is  “Sir Lancelot”…a beautiful KOI with long flowing fins.

The original painting was painted on a large sheet of metal, sealed so it can withstand the weather outside.
