ABOUT THE AUTHOR
MaryLou Schmitt, sbelle72 Boise, IDI was born in Chattanooga, TN. As a young woman I pursued a career in television at WTVC, Channel 9. After a few years and marriage, I became a mom and chose to work only part time while my children were small. In 1976 we moved to Boise, ID. At 36 years old I went back to college and studied art and creative writing at Boise State University. I pursued further studies in art at Scottsdale Art School and with various noted Idaho artists. In the late seventies I pursued a career for 4 yrs. in the corporate office of Conchemo, 15 yrs at Boise Cascade Corporation’s Corporate Headquarters and 12 years at Munther Goodrum law firm. My diverse career path has provided me with experiences in many areas of business, and the opportunity for pursuing my love for painting and writing.
